Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote better health and quality of life by assisting and empowering those in need.

Vision Statement
Achieve a healthier community.

History:
Health and Prescription Services originated in Jackson County in 1960.  This agency was formed in order to assist those in our community that were victims of polio, cancer, tuberculosis and muscular dystrophy.  The program has operated under several different names throughout the decades.  While the scope of services has both changed and expanded over the years, our core mission remains the same.

Health and Prescription Services is a non-profit 501c3 agency, and is funded by donations and by the United Way of Jackson & George Counties.  It is governed by a Board of Directors who are volunteers from the community, and is overseen by an Executive Director.
