Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote better health and quality of life by assisting and empowering those in need.
Vision Statement
Achieve a healthier community.
History:
Health and Prescription Services was established in Jackson County in 1960 to provide assistance to individuals in our community affected by polio, cancer, tuberculosis, and muscular dystrophy. Over the decades, the organization has operated under several different names, reflecting the evolving needs of the communities we serve. While our programs and services have expanded significantly, our core mission has remained unchanged: to improve the health and well-being of those in need.
Health and Prescription Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported through charitable donations and funding from United Way of Jackson & George Counties. The organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of dedicated community members and is led by an Executive Director who oversees its daily operations and strategic direction.
